Dr. Henry White is a distinguished figure in the fields of public safety and criminal justice, bringing a rich background in law enforcement and education to his current roles. As a retired law enforcement commander, Dr. White has a profound understanding of law enforcement technology, criminal justice policy, and the dynamics of public safety.
He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Public Safety and Law field and as an Adjunct Professor at a higher education institution. Throughout his extensive career, he has spearheaded strategic technology initiatives and directed major projects within law enforcement. Dr. White’s research primarily focuses on enhancing the relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve. This theme is prominently featured in his doctoral dissertation, “Campus Police Officers Promoting Positive Relationships with College Students: A Qualitative Descriptive Study.”
Beyond academia, Dr. White is a proactive entrepreneur. He leads a private security investigation company and an IT group that specializes in cyber defense and AI computing. His work consistently aims to bridge the gap between traditional law enforcement practices and cutting-edge technologies, ensuring that public safety agencies stay ahead in an era of rapid innovation.
A regular contributor to discussions on policing, ethics, and technology, Dr. White offers invaluable insights into the contemporary challenges and solutions in modern law enforcement.
